Shell Prints

I am so happy to add these shell prints to my store. I use an old Japanese method called Gyotaku.From  around the 1800's fishermen would apply ink to their freshly caught fish and then press it onto rice paper to keep track of their catch. I use the same method but instead use shells that I have hand collected . After printing them, I then I carefully hand paint colored accents to make them even more beautiful & unique. Please note. These are not copies all are original.
